Welcome to Wendy Beck - Never Enough Paper
I love pretty paper. I can never get enough paper. That addiction has now spread to ribbon and stamps.

It is time for the monthly PTI Blog Hop. The challenge for this month was to create a card that is decorated inside and out. I wanted to use non-Valentine colors for my Valentine’s Day card. I choose this Basic Grey paper as I love the pink, green, and brown together. I used PTI’s Mixed Message stamp set as well as a heart set from CTMH.

The angel ornament is one of my favorite. I love the simple but elegant color combination. I decided to recreate the color combination using Spring Rain and Enchanted Evening. For stamps I used PTI’s Giga Guide Lines, Guide Lines Two, and Polka Dot II. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a great new year.

Paper Craft Project, Papertrey Ink

I like to have gift bags on hand for all occasions, but I don’t have a lot of storage room. I found that I can buy plain gift bags in packs at Joanns at 40% off. You can quickly make a gift bag for any occasion. For this bag I used plain card stock as the bottom layer. Next I added matching designer paper and last an accent band. I used Giga Guide Lines by PTI to make this bag. I added gemstone accents to add some bling to my bag.

Here is an assortment of the bags that I made this year. I used PTI’s Vintage Ornaments for two of the bags.

Papertrey Ink
I love looking at cute gingerbread houses, but I hate making them. They are messy and hard to put together. In Florida, they are excellent bug bait. This year PTI created a cute alternative. Lauren Meader designed a cute house template. Nichole Heady made a stamp set, Home Made, to go with it. http://papertreyink.com/stamps_homemade.html I decided to purchase both of these items and make a house for the December Guest Star Stamper Contest. I had a great time putting the house together. I used the PTI set Believe to make a Santa and a Christmas tree to go with my house.
My son saw my house and wants one of his own. This week we will be putting his together. I think we will end up with a complete village.

CTMH, Cards, Papertrey Ink

Last year I picked a very detailed Christmas tree to feature in my Christmas card. I spent long hours coloring 40 trees. This year I decided to keep it simple. I saw this wreath stamp, Festive Frills, in the CTMH catalog. I thought this set would make a great card. I wanted to do something to make the berries pop, but that was also time effecient. I found that the PTI stamp set, Polka Dot Basics, had a circle that was perfect for the berries. I was very happy to have my Big Shot when I cut out the 80 circles with my Nesties.

Today is the November PTI Blog Hop. The challenge for today was to create easy last minute Christmas tags. I love PTI’s stamps. It is so easy to create cute and simple tags with them. You can keep them simple or add extra bling. To make my tags I used the following PTI stamps; Vintage Ornaments, Snowflake Serenade, and Holiday Treats.

Cards, Papertrey Ink
This year we are celebrating Thanksgiving with the Beck family in St. Petersburg. My sister-in-law is a great cook so I know that it will be a great feast.
My family is far away. Every year I send them a Thanksgiving card to thank them for what they do for my family. This year I decided to try a different color combination for my Thanksgiving cards. The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red and Regal Rose. The stamp set is Autumn Abundance from Papertrey Ink.
I hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving!

Papertrey Ink has a monthly guest star stamper contest. In October, I entered the contest. I made two cute Halloween milk carton containers and filled them. My sons gave them to their teachers on Halloween. I was pleased to find out that I got an honorable mention in the contest. Nichole Heady is such an inspiration to me. I was touched by her comments. http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2009/11/october-honorable-mentions.html

This is the card that I made for the Indian themed card challenge at PTI. I love the jewel tones and elaborate designs that the Indians use in their jewelry and clothing. I jused the PTI stamp set Guidelines II and CTMH Boutique Borders.
